A ST. LOUIS DIGITAL DETOX
& FOREST BATHING SERIES
September Sundays in Nature
A simple, screen-free way to begin the week with more connection to yourself, the land, and a community of people who are choosing to slow down together.
For four Sunday mornings in September, we’ll gather outdoors for guided Forest Bathing and nature connection in local St. Louis green spaces. You’ll be invited to slow down, unplug, notice what’s around you, and spend time in relationship with the natural world at a pace your body can actually receive.
Come to two sessions, or join us for the full month. Either way, this is an easy, affordable way to build a consistent nature connection practice before fall fully takes off.

What a Sunday Session looks like

Forest bathing (shinrin-yoku) is the practice of slow, sensory immersion in the natural world. There is no hiking pace to keep, no miles to log, and no right way to participate.
Each 90-minute session is guided with nature therapy invitations. We’ll move slowly, pause often, and gather in community to share what we’re noticing. Sharing is always optional, but one of the sweetest parts of this practice is hearing the small, beautiful things other people notice. It has a way of widening your own attention and reminding you that we are all experiencing the same place in completely different ways.
No phones. No agenda. No pressure. No need to be “good” at being outside. Just your senses and the September air.
You’ll leave each session with a quieter nervous system, a deeper sense of place, and a community of people choosing presence over productivity, one Sunday at a time.
This path is for you if…
Four Sundays in September
Each session meets at a different St. Louis green space. Locations will be chosen with participant input and will stay within about 20 minutes or less of the St. Louis metro area. You’ll receive location details and ‘what to bring’ notes before each session.
Optional Digital Detox Challenge
Alongside the Sunday sessions, you’ll also receive a simple optional digital detox challenge to support you between walks.
Nothing extreme. No deleting every app and moving to a cabin (unless you want to, in which case please send pictures).

This is more about noticing your patterns, creating a little more space from the scroll, and giving yourself a few simple ways to return to the real world around you.
You can participate as much or as little as you’d like.

A few gentle notes…
This series is for adults 18+.
You do not need any prior Forest Bathing, meditation, mindfulness, or outdoor experience to join. All invitations are optional, and you are always welcome to participate in the way that feels right for your body, energy, and needs that day.
Urban Forest Therapy welcomes people across identities, backgrounds, bodies, and lived experiences. My intention is to create a grounded, respectful space where you can arrive as you are, without needing to explain, perform, or fit a certain idea of what “wellness” looks like.
