Solstice Greetings! You’re in! 🙌

We’re so excited to see you for the Women’s Full Moon Forest Bathing & Yoga Solstice Celebration at Simpson Park!

Please SAVE THIS PAGE. There are important notes about the event and navigating to our meeting spot.

This program takes place on Thursday, June 20th, 2024 6pm – 8:30pm. Check-in begins at 5:45pm

Where should we meet?

We’ll be set up in the grassy area near the playground at Simpson Park. Please park in the lot near the lake and pavillion (map links and address below). There is a public restroom near the lot.

What should we wear or bring?

  • Liability waivers are required to participate. Please click here to fill out the online waiver (doing this in advance will ensure we are able to start on time).
  • Dress appropriately for the weather in comfortable, lightweight clothing, and comfortable shoes or sandals (we will be primarily in grassy areas for all activities).
  • Bring water to stay hydrated. There will be access to drinking water and bathrooms, but bring what you need to feel well.
  • Yoga: Bring a yoga mat and blanket or towel if you have one. You’re welcome to bring your own props (blocks, straps, bolster, etc.) if you want, but they are not required.
  • Forest Bathing: Sit pads will be available for everyone, but you are welcome to bring your towel/blanket or a camping chair if you prefer not to be on the ground.
  • Sun and Bug Protection: Be prepared for sunburns, bug bites, ticks, and allergens. It’s always a good idea to wear a hat and/or sunscreen. These are personal choices and the responsibility will be left up to each individual.
  • Anything you need to feel comfortable and cared for.

What else should I know?

  • Yoga: Beginner-friendly full-body movements with warm-ups, savasana, and a guided breathwork meditation.
  • Forest Bathing: Not a strenuous activity. We will be walking some, but the intent is to slow down and practice being in nature. We will cover less than 1/2 mile during this activity.
  • Flower Crowns, Intention Setting & Tea party we will provide everything you need for these activities, just come with an open mind and heart and all the rest will come together! 🫶
  • Community: This event is designed to cultivate a sense of community among women, providing a supportive space to connect with nature and each other. Whatever you bring to the circle is welcome, we ask that you hold space for one another and refrain from offering unsolicited advice. This is a place to feel seen and accepted without judgment. There will be opportunities to share your experience with the group, but this is not mandatory.
  • Accessibility: Please reach out if there are any accessibility requests.
  • Snacks: Light gluten-free snacks and tea will be provided toward the end of the event. Feel free to bring any additional food or snacks you might need to feel good.
