Solstice Evening Forest Bathing in the Garden

Tuesday June 24, 2025 @ 6:30 am – 8:30 pm CDT

In Partnership with Missouri Botanical Gardens

Step into the stillness of summer’s edge with a special Solstice Evening Forest Bathing & Nature Therapy Walk at the Missouri Botanical Garden. As the sun begins its slow descent and the gates close to the public, the garden reveals a quieter magic—fragrant air, long golden shadows, and a hush that invites presence.

Though just beyond the solstice, this session honors the turning of the seasonal wheel—a time to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what’s most essential as we cross the threshold into summer.

Guided by the practice of Shinrin-Yoku, this after-hours experience offers a rare opportunity to engage with the garden’s beauty in the soft light of evening.

🌿 What to Expect:

  • A gentle, mindful walk through the garden after hours.
  • Sensory-based invitations attuned to the themes of solstice and seasonal transition.
  • A space for rest, reflection, and deep connection with nature’s rhythms.

Nature’s Invitation:
This is a slow, welcoming walk—not a hike—designed to support nervous system restoration and inner calm. Each session includes time for quiet reflection and optional sharing, along with simple practices you can take home to deepen your nature connection.
