Summer Threshold Forest Bathing Experience at The Nature Institute
Saturday June 13 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm CDT
In Partnership with The Nature Institute

Join me for a Summer Threshold Forest Bathing Experience at The Nature Institute
As we move toward the Summer Solstice, the days stretch long and full, light lingering well into the evening. This time of year carries the invitation to expand a little… to follow what feels alive… and to notice where energy is naturally building in your life.
This guided Forest Bathing walk is a chance to step into that rhythm with intention. Together, we’ll slow down, settle into the landscape, and attune to the fullness of early summer, lush greens, warm air, and the buzz of nature’s bloom into summer.
Join Certified Forest and Nature Therapy Guide Jess Thenhaus for a guided walk through The Nature Institute’s private trails. Through gentle, sensory-based invitations, you’ll connect with the richness of the season and explore what it means to be on the edge of this bright turning point.
What to Expect
A slow, mindful walk designed to awaken your senses
Guided invitations to notice the vibrancy and fullness of early summer
Space for reflection on energy, expansion, and what’s coming into bloom
Connection with a small group in a calm, welcoming setting
A closing tea circle to gather and integrate the experience
Nature’s Invitation
Inspired by Shinrin-Yoku, this is not a hike, but a quiet immersion in the more-than-human world. You’re invited to move at a slower pace, to notice what draws your attention, and to receive whatever the landscape offers.
What is Forest Bathing?
Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, Forest Bathing supports relaxation, nervous system regulation, and a deeper connection with the natural world. This is a gentle, guided experience, not a strenuous hike, where the focus is on presence rather than distance.
Step away from the noise of daily life, spend time under the canopy of early summer, and see what shifts when you give yourself space to simply be.
