Nature’s Hints of Spring – Late Winter Forest Bathing at Missouri Botanical Garden
Saturday February 28 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm CST
In Partnership with Missouri Botanical Gardens

By late February, winter still holds its grip, but subtle signs of spring are stirring. The light lingers longer, buds are swelling on bare branches, and the first hints of green may be found if you look closely. It’s also the season when many of us are longing to shake off cabin fever and step outside.
Join Jess Thenhaus, ANFT Certified Forest and Nature Therapy Guide, for a guided forest bathing experience at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Through Shinrin-Yoku, the Japanese practice of forest bathing, you’ll slow down and reawaken your senses; breathing in crisp winter air, noticing the quiet beauty still present, and opening to nature’s early whispers of renewal.
This session is a gentle, restorative way to honor the transition between seasons, reconnect with yourself, and welcome the year’s turning. The session includes hot tea and time warming up indoors if needed. In the case of inclement weather, we’ll bring the essence of nature inside for a cozy and restorative experience.
