Autumn Forest Bathing at The Nature Institute
Saturday October 24 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am CDT
In Partnership with The Nature Institute

Join us on Saturday, October 24 at The Nature Institute in Godfrey, IL, just 40 minutes from St. Louis, for an Autumn Forest Bathing + Nature Therapy Walk.
Late October is one of my favorite times to experience The Nature Institute. The forest is full of fall color, the leaves are changing underfoot, and the private, protected trails offer a chance to get a little farther away from the noise of the city.
Guided by Jess Thenhaus, Certified Forest and Nature Therapy Guide, this two-hour experience is an invitation to slow down and experience autumn through the senses. We’ll move leisurely through the woods with guided Forest Bathing invitations, time for quiet reflection and optional sharing, and space to simply notice what’s happening around you.
🌿 What to Expect:
- A slow, mindful walk designed to help you unwind and reconnect.
- Guided sensory invitations to deepen awareness and experience the forest in peak autumn.
- Time for quiet reflection and optional sharing.
- A rare opportunity to experience the private, protected lands of The Nature Institute.
This is not a strenuous hike, but a gentle, leisurely experience suitable for all fitness levels. No previous Forest Bathing or mindfulness experience is necessary.
If you’re craving a little escape from the city, a morning outside, and a different way to experience fall, this is a beautiful time of year to join me at The Nature Institute.
Registration through The Nature Institute is required. Space is limited.
