Autumn Equinox Celebration: Forest Bathing + Autumn Ritual

Join us for a special evening in Forest Park as we celebrate the Autumn Equinox and welcome the transition into a new season.

Beginning near the Jewel Box and wandering into the Successional Forest, we’ll spend the evening slowing down with guided Forest Bathing & Nature Therapy, noticing the changing season, connecting with the land and one another, and marking this seasonal threshold together.

The Autumn Equinox is the moment when day and night are nearly equal, before we begin our gradual turn toward longer nights. It offers a natural pause between seasons—a chance to notice what summer has given us, what is changing, and what we want to carry with us into autumn.

Event Highlights

🌿🌲 Guided Forest Bathing + Nature Therapy: Experience a guided Forest Bathing + Nature Therapy session near the Jewel Box and Successional Forest in Forest Park. Through a series of sensory invitations, we’ll slow down, engage our senses, and spend time noticing the subtle shifts happening in the landscape as summer gives way to autumn.

✨ Autumn Nature Ritual: Using natural elements and a few simple materials, you’ll create a meaningful piece to bring home from our evening together for a tangible reminder of the Equinox to add to your altar, display somewhere special, or simply carry a little of autumn into your home.

🌗🍁 Equinox Reflection: As we move from summer into autumn, we’ll make space to reflect on the transition happening around us and in our own lives. The Equinox gives us a beautiful opportunity to pause at the threshold, appreciate what this season has held, and consider what we want to bring with us into the months ahead.

🫖🍵 Autumn Tea + Community: We’ll close our evening over warm tea and light seasonal refreshments, with time to connect and reflect together on the transition into autumn; what we’re harvesting from the summer season and the intentions we want to carry into fall. Come alone or bring someone with you and enjoy an unhurried evening of community as we welcome the new season together.
